Kiwanis was founded in the Bahamas on December 13, 1962, and was the first offshore Kiwanis Club outside of the Continental Americas and Canada. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. While we are children-focused, we also implement programs to assist children, youth, the elderly, and the downtrodden in our society.
